Abingdon with the Smith's

On our first stop we visited with Dan and Amy Smith in Abingdon, VA.  We sat on their beautiful new patio overlooking the last views of the Blue Ridge from their lovely home.  We had delicious pitas & fruit, home made guacamole & cookies, sipped tea and discussed the intricacies and importance of shopping for your food and your banking locally.

Kiril and Amy!  Amy put out a lovely spread and showered us with southern hospitality.  Amy was off for an interview at a local radio show to discuss developments with her research regarding cancer and lifestyle in the local area.

Kiril and Dan!  Dan rolled up on a tractor in his suit and tie!  He like's to relax in the field, even if on a short lunch siesta from work prior to the arrival of guests.  We were glad he was able to get away from the banking industry to relax with us and bask in the beauty of the day.

Kiril loved the view from Amy and Dan's lovely home on Cherry Hill.

A most excellent adventure photo with Kiril and I before our luncheon.

Delicious morsels and good conversation.
